Dreamworld inspires with dynamic event spaces

Dreamworld is relaunching two of its event spaces, with a focus on creating inspiring and memorable events.

Hosting a corporate event or a celebration at Dreamworld is a unique opportunity to tap into the fun and energetic atmosphere only Australia’s biggest theme park can provide.

From animal and cultural experiences, to indoor and outdoor dining and exclusive access to rides, Dreamworld’s event coordinators can tailor make a package to suit your budget and requirements.

“With over 10 uniquely themed event precincts including Tiger Island, our indiginous and wildlife area Corroborree, and Brock’s Garage, the scene is already set for a unique and seamless experience that will impress your guests,” said Annette Pearce, Sales Director for Dreamworld and SkyPoint.

“No matter what venue you choose, event managers will have one point of contact when organising any event from breakfast functions to group entry and after dark activities.”

The variety of venues can cater for up to 280 people for a seated function to approximately 500 for a cocktail function and the park can also be used for large scale fundraising events for between 600 to 4,000 people, which will see significant benefits for your event.

Dreamworld will provide all necessary services and facilities as part of your event package such as catering which can include a selection of canapes, buffets, platters and three-course plated meals as well as AV equipment, lighting and design elements.

Imagine hosting your next private function at Tiger Island alongside the jungle’s most ferocious mammals as you enjoy a three-course fine dining experience or cocktail function in the newly built undercover stadium. Your group can learn more about tigers in the wild and Dreamworld’s support for tiger conservation with a percentage of the event contributed to the Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation (DWF).

A highlight of Tiger Island is the traditional high tea hosted for international groups at 11am and 2pm daily. These events can seat up to 80 people and give international groups a unique experience while coming face to face with our tigers.

“A $7 million refurbishment late last year, transformed Tiger Island into one of the most sought-after event spaces on the Gold Coast, where you can dine in the company of the world’s most ferocious predators with proceeds going towards Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation,” Pearce added.

For an inspiring corporate event, Brock’s Garage provides ample space in a unique setting while giving your delegates all the inspiration they need to work towards their personal and professional goals.

Dreamworld’s motorsports precinct showcases the career of one of Australia’s best-known racing car drivers, with 28 original and replica Peter Brock cars. Attendees will also have access to a private presentation by owner of this historic Peter Brock collection, Peter Champion, in partnership with V8 Supercars.

The story of Peter Brock’s rise to success is inspiring and his story can be incorporated into any event which aims to motivate delegates to reach their full potential. Choose from a three-course dinner for up to 280 people or a cocktail package for up to 400 people including live entertainment.

There are many other conference and event options across the park including themed outdoor spaces such as Kung Fu Panda’s Land of Awesomeness, where guests will dine under glowing red lanterns and enjoy a themed food and entertainment experience.

Corroboree also provides a unique event space, which will give guests the chance to interact with wildlife, learn more about indigenous culture and enjoy a bush tucker style menu.

Billabong Restaurant can provide formal sit down functions for up to 300 people and The Shell at WhiteWater World is the ideal spot for large groups to come together for lunch, then head out into the park for some ride and slide fun.

The entire park can be utilised for large scale events such as fundraiser days where organisers can raise money towards their charity.
