Give business to get business at IHG

The world’s biggest hotel loyalty programme has added a business component to reward event organisers.

InterContinental Hotels Group are rewarding members who book business accommodation, meetings and events at participating hotels worldwide.

The IHG Business Rewards is redeemable for all qualified business bookings at over 4700 properties, and designed to allow IHG bookers to earn points for their B2B business as well as to have a seamless experience when dealing with the hotels.

Furthermore, IHG Business Rewards members will now see all earned points on a single membership card which can be used to book and stay at all participating IHG hotels.

IHG Business Rewards members will earn reward points for every booking, and even when reserving a guestroom or a large conference on behalf of someone else, there is no booking threshold and no minimum qualifying spend

All IHG Business Rewards bookings will also count towards achieving IHG Rewards Club Gold or Platinum tier status, when the same member books and stays at an IHG hotel.

“By combining our regional business loyalty programmes into one, we are giving our members a smoother, more personal experience by leveraging the existing IHG Rewards Club loyalty platform and infrastructure, points engine and redemption partners,” IHG SVP Customer Loyalty Marketing, Susanna Freer Epstein, said.

As members start earning points with IHG Business Rewards, they will have access to all of the redemption options available in the IHG Rewards Club global catalogue.
