Gold Coast Connect on track for record numbers in Brisbane

A record number of 150 Brisbane meeting planners have registered to attend Gold Coast Connect in Brisbane this week.

The popular event has grown in recent years with the lunch time expo on Friday 9 February attracting the highest ever registrations of conference and event planners who research and organise business events.

The event will bring together 43 Gold Coast specialists from meeting venues, accommodation and experiences in an event hosted by Gold Coast Business Events.

Gold Coast Connect will also provide guests with the opportunity to hear about the exciting new developments unfolding as the city prepares to host the largest sporting event Australia will see this decade, with the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games™ just 61 days away.

Director of Gold Coast Business Events, Anna Case said the event is the perfect forum to update key buyers with the very latest on offer in a city that has an unprecedented level of new infrastructure, upgraded venues and experiences on offer for business events.

“Gold Coast Connect is an ideal opportunity to discover the latest news on Gold Coast venues and suppliers, source inspiration for extraordinary events and build relationships with the professionals who make successful conferences, incentives and meetings happen,” she said.

Conference and meeting planners can register to attend Gold Coast Connect Brisbane which will be held on Friday 9 February from 12 – 2pm at Customs House Brisbane.
