Hello Kitty Town Hits Darling Square

Hello Kitty Town Hits Darling Square

The beloved Bobtail cat and her friends are taking over Sydney’s Darling Square until April 29th 2022.

According to darlingsq.com the free festival is a “feast of art, fun and flavour”.

The hip complex nestled between Darling Harbour and Haymarket has been given a Sanrio makeover with art, food and bespoke merchandise available from its trendy shops and restaurants.

An immersive outdoor gallery explores the vibrance of Japanese pop culture through the art of world-renowned graphic designers and illustrators, who have given Sanrio’s iconic characters their “own signature flair”.

From plush toys and cosmetics to mocktails, ice cream sandwiches, and burgers inspired by the world’s laziest, bare-cheeked egg, Gudetama, Hello Kitty Town is full of fun and spectacle for Sydneysiders to experience the charming world of Sanrio.
