Helloworld opens share offer for members

Helloworld is offering a piece of the pie with the Prospectus for the Loyalty Bonus Scheme, where up to 768,000 free shares in the company for eligible franchise members.

The formal prospectus offer released yesterday states “the Scheme underpins the Helloworld Group strategy of rewarding loyalty displayed by Franchisees, and the issue of Shares under the Scheme is intended to facilitate building a stronger member network.”

Applications for the shares made available for “nil cash consideration” are being taken up until 25 November 2016.

Members awarded shares are restricted from being traded or transferred until 31 October 2018 and should franchises no longer become a member of the Helloworld network on that date, all shares will be forfeit.

The Prospectus for the Loyalty Bonus Scheme was revealed exclusively and directly to Owner Managers at the recent OMC in Singapore where the conference theme of ‘We are all in this together’ was mirrored by the presenters, keynote speakers and suppliers throughout the conference and reinforced by the announcement that franchisees in the branded, associate and Helloworld for Business networks would be invited to become shareholders in Helloworld Limited by way of a loyalty bonus, further demonstrating the unity and togetherness of the business going forward.

Helloworld CEO and Managing Director Andrew Burnes said at the conference “from the CEO to the shareholders, our network owners, our staff and our suppliers we have a common and unified goal to grow the business. We really are ‘in this together’ and our success is best assured for our shareholders, network members and supplier partners by aligning our interests and sharing the benefits of that success equitably.”
