iVvy boasts Winning Woman

Lauren Hall, founder and CEO of innovative events technology company iVvy, has been selected to participate in the prestigious 2016 EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ Asia-Pacific program.

As one of the five women selected from Australia, Hall joins a diverse group hailing from China, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam. In total, the group of 16 selected women contributed over US$5.5 billion to the Asia-Pacific economy in 2015, employing more than 30,000 people across the region.

“I feel privileged to be included in the company of forward-thinking women across the region,” said Hall.

The program has been designed to assist established women-led businesses that are ready to scale operations and become global market leaders. This is the second year of the annual program.

Hall acknowledges the benefit of this program for the growth of iVvy.

“Since it started as an idea a few years ago, iVvy has grown to become a brand synonymous with transforming a legacy-heavy industry into a connected hub. This recognition by EY will help us grow globally,” she said.

iVvy’s Marketplace platform allows event organisers to search, compare, book and pay for event space, food and beverage and group accommodation instantly – a previously time consuming process.

“As we celebrate International Women’s Day across the world, it is great to see global organisations such as EY honouring the efforts of women entrepreneurs and giving us a platform to shine brighter,” said Hall.
