Luxperience 2016 enters day two

Luxperience 2016 opened in style at The Star Event Centre with a Thought Leaders Forum and Welcome Cocktail Party for 600 guests over the weekend.

Luxperience is celebrating its fifth year, and this year commenced with its expanded Thought Leaders Forum. Guests chose between three edifying talks from the effects of wellness in one’s personal and business life and the use of social media to attract high yield travellers to future trends and innovative thinking.

The night continued with an inspiring keynote speech by adventurer and founder of MyAdventure Group, James Castrisson. The evening wrapped up with a memorable anniversary party with drinks flowing and plethora of culinary delights.

Yesterday it is down to business as Luxperience exhibitors and buyers engaged in the first day of appointments at Australian Technology. Thousands of meetings are set to take place over the 3.5 day event and each attendee’s appointment schedule can be accessed through the new Luxperience App, which includes personal diaries and itineraries, exhibition layout and their delegate access badge along with social media connectivity including the ability to contact other Luxperience delegates through messenger. #soluxperience!

Newly inducted as a Virtuoso luxury member, Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board (L.A. Tourism) was also in attendence at Luxperience with The Line Hotel and Mondrian Los Angeles this October.

This marks the first time hotel partners are joining the L.A. Tourism booth, bringing to life the destination’s luxury hotel offerings for travel buyers.

Among L.A.’s wide range of accommodation options, luxury and unique properties can be found in various neighborhoods. Mondrian Los Angeles will showcase the Sunset Strip’s classic glamour and excitement in the form of a luxury boutique hotel. Moving towards the hip region of Downtown L.A., buyers will have the chance to learn about The Line Hotel, a collaboration by the Sydell Group with local influencers Roy Choi, The Houston Brothers, Sean Knibb and art and design collective Poketo.
