Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) is teaming up with its international partner, the Sustainable Event Alliance (SEA), to help reimagine the industry’s future.

Kicking off on 15 April, the ‘Re-Imagine Events’ event will take on a hackathon-style format, with organisers inviting the industry to come together during this “pivotal moment”.

“We invite people from throughout our industry to come together for supportive and therapeutic sessions to discuss and imagine what the future of events could be,” MEA said in a statement.

“Let’s get together, discuss a positive future, and envision and event industry that is good for all.”

During the free, two-hour hackathon, hosted by the SEA and its partners, attendees will be able to mix with fellow members of the event industry from around the world to re-imagine what the next six months, the next two years and beyond will be like for the event industry.
