Meeting planners get inside scoop on Gold Coast

Gold Coast Business Events is hosting Gold Coast Connect at Sheraton on the Park on April 14, to give local meeting planners the opportunity to find out the very latest on offer for running conferences and meetings on the Gold Coast.

The lunch time format will feature 44 Gold Coast venues, experiences and specialist services exhibiting in a pop-up style exhibition.

Gold Coast Tourism Director of Business Events, Anna Case said the event is an ideal opportunity to update key buyers on all things Gold Coast – at a time when the destination is experiencing unprecedented growth and redevelopment in preparation for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth GamesTM.

“Gold Coast Connect is the perfect forum for our buyers to research the Gold Coast – and keep one step ahead of the constant development and upgrades we’re seeing in the city. It also recognises that sometimes there really is no substitute for making personal connections with the operators you are dealing with, and this event is as much about fostering positive relationships with Gold Coast meeting experts,” she said.

With the city recently celebrating the major milestone of two years until the Commonwealth Games, the event will also include a presentation from Rowan Foster, Manager Stakeholder Engagement at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation.

To register to attend Gold Coast Connect, contact Gold Coast Business Events on 07 5584 6251.
