Meeting planners rewarded with Wyndham

Meeting planners can not only enjoy the ease of booking hassle free but can now earn big with Wyndham Rewards.

Conference planners and people booking group accommodation who are members of the Wyndham Rewards loyalty program can earn points on qualifying revenue at participating hotels involved in the go meet program.

The program allows conference and event planners to earn one point for every dollar spent on guest rooms (when there are ten or more rooms on at least one night), meeting room rental fees and food and beverage charges, with no minimum spend requirement and no maximum point cap.

In addition, each paying event guest can now earn 10 points per dollar on qualified stays at Wyndham Rewards hotels.

Wyndham Hotel Group South East Asia and Pacific Rim, president and managing director, Barry Robinson said “not only is go meet  the world’s most generous rewards program for meeting planners, we finally have a rewards program that is simple to understand. Now, we can truly recognise conference and events organisers for their partnership and the business they bring to our hotels with faster and more meaningful rewards.”

Unlike other hotel loyalty programs, with go meet there is no minimum spend requirement and no maximum point limit. The lack of restrictions means the earning potential is vast, leading to faster, easier routes to the tangible and meaningful rewards planners deserve, like free nights.

Go meet is the first formal rewards program of its kind to cater to both professional and casual planners across every hotel segment. Every planner is eligible to earn, from the corporate meeting planner booking a large conference to a team coach coordinating accommodation at an economy hotel for a rugby match.

The new program also allows event guests who are members of Wyndham Rewards and who are paying for their rooms directly to earn a minimum of 1,000 Wyndham Rewards points on a qualified stay. As such, both planners and individually paying guests can earn valuable rewards.

Wyndham Hotel Group’s diverse portfolio of nearly 8,000 hotels in 73 countries offers more than 10 million square feet of meeting and event space worldwide along with quality accommodations for every travel need and price point.
