Newest Uluwatu resort to open in 2018

Besides the obvious (sun, sea, cocktails and beaches), we’ve got a pretty good reason to visit Bali in 2018 – but for now, we’ve got the pics to dreamingly look at all day.

Alila Resorts is adding to their impressive Bali portfolio with a new resort: The Cliff.

Flirting at the edge of a 100m drop down to the Indian Ocean, The Cliff combines contemporary luxury with an uber-cool design and phenomenal dining and lifestyle concepts. The best bit? It’s exclusively adults-only.

The resort will sit atop a limestone cliff, alongside the southernmost coast of Uluwatu beach, with expansive, gasp-inducing ocean views. The resort is 30 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport, and 15 minutes from Uluwatu Temple and Jimbaran Bay – Bali’s famous sunset seafood dining destination.

Sunset and seafood is more than enough to convince us  – but the resort will also feature the world’s first OMNIA Dayclub plus the refined Sake no Hana!

The day club will be a bold, beautiful daytime incarnation of OMNIA’s flagship Las Vegas nightclub, where bright lights give way to Bali sunshine and to-the-horizon ocean views. Luxury daytime indulgence includes an array of private VIP and see-and-be-seen spaces, a centrefold-worthy pool with swim-up bars, luxurious daybeds and cabanas, and poolside butler service. Take a squiz:

Sake no Hana originated in Mayfair in London’s West End, and will make its Bali debut at The Cliff. The open-air restaurant offers contemporary Japanese cuisine inspired by nature and the changing seasons. Pick from a la carte selections of charcoal grill, toban and kamameshi delicacies, or stake your place at the sushi bar, where gourmet sushi and sashimi are prepared to order. Did we mention the view?

The resort will also include complimentary Wi-Fi, 24-hour in-room dining, spa, boutique, airport transfers, car rental facilities, laundry and dry-cleaning services.
