Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites has extended and expanded its Happy Folks Choose Oaks brand campaign by partnering with The Coffee Club, Menulog and Foxtel to create an in-room experience that puts guests’ happiness – and convenience – front and centre.
Guests staying at selected Oaks properties across Australia can now enjoy quality in-room pod coffee by The Coffee Club, convenient grocery hampers filled with all the essentials delivered to your room, hand-picked local restaurant favourites via Menulog and the full Foxtel at-home experience, including free in-room streaming of their favourite programs as part of the brand’s ongoing commitment to tap into the simple things that make travellers, and hotel stays, happier.
Happy Folks Choose Oaks is an integrated PR and marketing campaign designed to differentiate the Oaks brand which centres on its philosophy that simple things such as weekend escapes, getting away with family and friends, and making time to connect are central to happy stays and holidays.
It reflects the real reason travellers choose to stay at Oaks – stellar locations, comfort, plenty of space, and a welcoming smile.
Minor Hotels’ Group director of brand and marketing (including Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites) Melissa Rodrigues said that the decision to continue the Happy Folks Choose Oaks platform was based upon the success of the first iteration of the campaign launched in 2022 in boosting brand recognition, helping differentiate the Oaks brand in a crowded and competitive market, and clearly showcasing its USPs to its target market.
“A warm welcome, plenty of space, top locations and all the comforts of home are key reasons guests choose to stay at Oaks properties, and this campaign clearly communicates our value proposition to our target market,” she said.
“During this next phase, we are building upon the Happy Folks Choose Oaks concept by incorporating partnerships that deliver tangible, real-life benefits for our guests, such as quality in-room coffee, a much broader choice of entertainment options for comfy nights in, convenient grocery hampers, and a simple way to access specially curated local dining options delivered to the hotel. They say it’s the little things in life that make a big difference, and these partnerships are designed to enhance every guest stay and make our hotels feel even more like home.”
Room service available on Menulog
From late-night hotel arrivals, to organising dinner for hungry kids after a day at the beach, Oaks’ new partnership with Australian-born on demand delivery platform, Menulog, provides guests the ease and convenience of ordering their favourite dishes directly to their rooms.
Menulog provides the greatest choice and value to millions of Australian and New Zealand customers connecting them with more than 35,000 local food, grocery and other retail businesses across the country. And now, guests staying in selected Oaks locations will have access to a curated Menulog menu featuring a wide selection of local restaurants, available for in-room dining.
With this new take on room service, guests will no longer need to track down the best pizza in town, with the most popular local options available for selection via the Menulog menu, with guests simply calling reception to order and closing the bill upon checkout.
Happy Folks choose quality coffee
Oaks Hotels has partnered with The Coffee Club to offer a selection of delicious – and fully recyclable – coffee pods in its hotel rooms, so guests can indulge in their favourite flavour at any time of day, whether staying for work, family, or play. Because Happy Folks choose quality caffeine and convenience…not instant coffee or early morning café runs.
Happy Folks choose streaming – and free Foxtel Business iQ
Oaks has partnered with Foxtel to give guests the gift of choice, with an extensive suite of premium movies, drama and sport live and on demand available in selected Oaks’ Australian properties via its in-room Foxtel Business iQ service.
So, whether its unwinding after a flight, chilling after a day in the pool with the kids, or treating the crew to a movie night, guests can enjoy all their must-watch entertainment from home via the TV or casting a favourite streaming service from their own device – which keeps everybody happy.
Happy Folks choose handy hampers
The last thing any traveller wants to do is take time out from their eagerly anticipated getaway to track down the nearest supermarket to stock up on essentials. Oaks Hotels’ new range of handy grocery hampers are here to help! A range of handy hampers can be pre-ordered when booking a stay, ready to enjoy in room upon arrival – or you can be ordered as a last-minute saviour upon check-in.
Five different hampers will be available at selected Oaks properties nationwide so guests can choose the option that best suits their needs, whether they’re travelling for business, pleasure, solo, in a couple, on a getaway with friends, or with the kids in tow.
