Wackadoo! The eagerly anticipated Bluey’s World is set to open in Brisbane, on 7 November, offering families an unforgettable Bluey adventure with tickets on sale from tomorrow.

Bluey’s World is a one-of-a-kind, immersive experience that will take visitors into the Heeler’s iconic family home, backyard and beyond – for real life. Get ready to play the Bluey way, whilst embarking on an interactive adventure through the vibrant and playful world of Bluey.

The Bluey’s World immersive experience features real-life sets, recognisable scenes, and beloved characters and games from hit-show Bluey.

Housed within the expansive 4000sqm purpose-built ‘Northshore Pavilion’, Bluey’s World boasts a state-of-the-art venue situated in Brisbane’s latest arts and entertainment hub, Northshore. Accessible by bus, car, foot and bike, visitors can even arrive via Brisbane’s iconic CityCat, as featured in beloved Bluey episodes like ‘Spy Game’ and ‘Ice Cream’.

“The magic of Bluey isn’t only in the universally relatable characters and storytelling,” director brands and licensing, BBC Studios ANZ, Kate O’Connor, said. “It is also in the setting – the beloved Heeler house in beautiful Brisbane is so well known to fans that it’s (near) recent sale made the primetime news. We are so excited that fans will finally get the opportunity to step inside and play in the Heeler’s iconic family home for real life!”

Bluey’s World producer Andrew Kay said: “We are thrilled to collaborate with BBC Studios to bring Bluey’s World to Brisbane. With Bluey’s World, we’re inviting fans to come and play in Bluey’s iconic home, which will be an unforgettable day out for all ages.”

Added Queensland Tourism Minister Michael Healy: “Bluey is globally adored and arguably our most famous Queenslander, from her Brisbane home and beyond, it’s such a treat seeing our state’s landscape immortalised in Bluey’s adventures, episode after episode.

“Bluey’s World will be truly captivating, giving fans an unforgettable and immersive experience, it is such a draw card to drive visitation to Queensland.

“We’re a family friendly destination and we know that once the family have lived and played like our favourite Heelers at Bluey’s World, that they’ll get out and explore our state, which is Bluey’s world – for real life.

“This special event is so highly anticipated on our calendar, we expect more than 200,000 visitors will enjoy Bluey’s World in its inaugural year, injecting more than $18 million into the local economy.”

Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner said the exclusive Bluey’s World experience is a chance for residents and visitors to honour the beloved Brisbane superstar.

“From this November, excited Bluey fans from around Australia and the globe will travel to our city, eager to experience the immersive Bluey spectacle,” Schrinner  said. “Bluey’s World places a global spotlight on Brisbane as an ever-evolving major events city.

“Brisbane is proud to support this unmissable homegrown event and welcomes an influx of fans who will deliver a powerful boost to local business, filling our hotels, restaurants and lifestyle precincts, as they explore our unique tourism attractions.”

Created by Joe Brumm, Bluey is produced by Emmy® Award-winning Ludo Studio for ABC KIDS and co-commissioned by ABC Children’s and BBC Studios Kids & Family.

Now a global phenomenon, the show follows the adventures of Bluey – a loveable, inexhaustible Blue Heeler dog – who lives with her Mum, Dad and her little sister Bingo.

Bluey uses her limitless energy to play games that unfold in unpredictable and hilarious ways bringing her family and the whole neighbourhood into her world of fun.

Bluey’s World is produced by BBC Studios and HVK World and supported by the Queensland Government through Tourism and Events Queensland, and Brisbane City Council via Brisbane Economic Development Agency, and features on Queensland’s calendar of events.

Tickets for Bluey’s World will go on sale on tomorrow, Tuesday 21 May.

Visitors can arrive via Brisbane’s iconic CityCat, as featured in Bluey episodes.
