The Soul development in Surfers Paradise will be managed by Mantra Group from early November.

The firm will manage the apartment letting under the name Soul Surfers Paradise to "capitalise on the market presence the Soul name enjoys".

 

SilverNeedle Hospitality executive chef, Peter Washbourne, will host both a live session and cooking class during the Australian Business Events Expo next week.

The two-day event, takes place from August 14 to 15 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Silverneedle will also be exhibiting at the event with a competition for all exhibition goers to win the chance to host a day delegate conference for up to 25 people at any of its properties. 

 

Both Qantas and Emirates have added a Google Now platform to their stable of mobile applications, with the Flying Kangaroo also launching an Android app.

 

Emirates has launched a luxury private jet service, Emirates Executive, which uses Airbus 319 aircraft with capacity for up to 19 passengers.

A restaurant operator and caterer is being sought for Sydney Living Museum's Mint Cafe with the tender to include catering services for around 250 business events and weddings. 

 

Chilean sommelier David Stevens-Castro, formerly of the Salt Grill in Surfers Paradise, will join InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort as Sommelier and Maitre'd at the resort's signature restaurant, The Fireplace.
