AVPartners has appointed Ben Hamblin as technical director at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC).

Hamblin was previously the Project Manager at PCEC for AVPartners and since joining the company in 2011, has gained considerable experience including working on some of Perth’s largest events.

AVPartners partner for PCEC, Ryan Taylor said, “Ben is a talented technician who has built an impressive career at PCEC. AVPartners has a strong focus on developing and promoting staff from within and we’re really proud to help people like Ben succeed.”

Worth A$20.4 million in estimated economic impact for the New South Wales economy, Pro-Health China returns to the harbour city with over 4,000 of its highest-achieving distributors, arriving in seven waves between 18 and 24 September.

 

The industry has shown strong support for 34th ASEAN Tourism Forum to be hosted in Myanmar next year, with over 350 TRAVEX (travel exchange) booths contracted and some 550 applications for the Hosted Buyers Programme.

The TRAVEX sellers, made up of suppliers of ASEAN travel and tourism products and services, come from the 10 member nations of ASEAN – Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam – and together will take up 8,000 square metres of space.
