The Fijian Tourism Expo (FTE) is designed to “promote and support” Fiji’s tourism industry with the first event to take place at the new Sheraton Conference Centre in Denarau from May 5 to 8 2014.

“The FTE program will be tailored to cater for the needs of local industry and deliver a unique Fijian experience,” chief executive Rick Hamilton said. “We will look after all service providers, big and small, and provide a more effective way of promoting Fiji as an international visitor destination of choice.”

He highlighted Cooper’s extensive industry experience and wealth of contacts as a significant advantage for the tourism body, currently undergoing significant change.

“She is also highly regarded by the international tourism industry and will bring all her expertise to the FTE to ensure its success,” Hamilton said.
