Air NZ Tandem Travel announces business partnership

Air New Zealand’s travel management company Tandem Travel is American Express Global Business Travel’s (GBT) new territory partner for New Zealand.

GBT has operations in nearly 120 countries worldwide and provides business travel services to a significant number of organisations in New Zealand.

Air New Zealand’s Regional General Manager of Direct & Market Development Jeremy O’Brien says Air New Zealand has been seeking a global partner for Tandem Travel and the airline is thrilled with the new collaboration.

“Tandem Travel’s strong partnerships and local market knowledge is a compelling proposition for business travellers and we’re excited to complement GBT’s global offering with our domestic expertise.”

GBT’s Director APAC Travel Partner Network Michael Murphy says the partnership offers excellent value for GBT’s clients, who will benefit from Tandem Travel’s unrivalled domestic knowledge alongside GBT’s global presence.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Tandem Travel in New Zealand. With more than 40 years’ experience, Tandem Travel has a proven track record of high quality service delivery and the ability to provide critical data and business insights for our clients.”

Existing GBT clients will begin transitioning to Tandem Travel in the coming months.
