Caravan and Camping Expo hits Penrith

As Australians flock back to the great caravan and camping getaway, the upcoming Penrith Caravan, Camping and Holiday Expo is the best place to find all the latest products and accessories you’ll need.

The annual Expo, staged by the industry’s peak body, the Caravan & Camping Industry Association (CCIA) NSW, is on from 9-11 September at the Penrith Panthers Exhibition Centre.  It will feature over 150 exhibitors with hundreds of caravan, motorhome, campervans, camper trailers and tent brands, equipment and accessories, holiday park and destination displays.

CCIA CEO Lyndel Gray said “Australians are reconnecting with domestic holidays and the latest industry data shows this holiday segment is growing fast.”

“We have seen strong growth in the caravan and camping sector in NSW with visitor nights up 16% in the past 12 months, and there is definitely a growing nostalgia for the traditional caravan and camping holiday.”

Gray said the Penrith Expo, now in its 21st year of operation, not only offers a great place to check out all the latest products, it’s a wonderful family day out with entertainment for the kids including jumping castles, a petting zoo and face painting and, new to the Penrith Expo this year, is the XXXX Gold Beer Garden with live entertainment.

Penrith Caravan, Camping and Holiday Expo is on at the Penrith Panthers Exhibition Centre from Friday 9th – Sunday 11th September 2016.  It is open from 9am – 5pm (closes 4pm Sunday) and tickets can be purchased either online or at the gates on the day.

Adult tickets are $15, Concession $10 and children 16 and under are FREE when accompanied by an adult. FREE parking is available at the venue.

Along with the XXXX Gold Beer Garden there is a huge range of gourmet snacks, hot and cold meals and drinks.  Pick up your FREE reusable shopping bag to carry your FREE copy of the 2016 NSW Holiday, Touring & Products Guide with information on over 400 Holiday Parks and more than 200 products and service providers throughout NSW.
