CINZ MEETINGS set for a big 2016

The application process for New Zealand’s largest business tourism trade exhibition, CINZ MEETINGS, is now open with the show to celebrate its 20th year in 2016.

International buyers from North America, China, Japan and India are set to join the conference this year, increasing opportunities to make connections.

“CINZ MEETINGS 2016 will be a stellar anniversary event, and our buyers can look forward to full hosting including travel, accommodation and registration… plus family opportunities before the show gets underway,” chief executive Sue Sullivan said.

The event, held on the 15th and 16th of June, will bring together buyers from domestic and international regions with the opportunity to connect and learn about key destinations, accommodation and activities within New Zealand, offering even greater incentives for travel.

The popular Luxury Collection will return for a third year, showcasing New Zealand’s finest products, venues and services.

The focused, face-to-face appointments is a highlight of the exhibition, giving buyers a chance to meet over 200 exhibitors from 19 regions of New Zealand.

The scheduled appointment system uses the latest online technology for fast and efficient appointment planning so buyers can make the best use of their time.

“Buyers tell us they enjoy the atmosphere of our appointment programme, with five minute breaks between appointments plus morning and afternoon tea breaks, all day coffee and tea, and exceptional networking and familiarisation events,” Sullivan said.

More than 300 day buyers from across New Zealand are set to join the 200 hosted buyers from Australia and New Zealand for the event this year.

Hosted buyers will receive invitations this week, and appointment applications are now open online at meetings.co.nz.
