Keynotes and panels and galas – oh my!

The Annual ICESAP Conference is back this weekend, with delegates gearing up for an action-packed two days.

From August 30 to September 1, the second installation of the event will produce a variety of events including Keynote Presentations, Panel Sessions, Workshops and an Awards Gala, with the aim of increasing knowledge of key developments in the industry, and offering a chance to network.

Focusing on the key issues currently in the APAC IC&E industry, this event brings together experts from a variety of different sectors to share their insights and opinions. With keynote speakers and panellists ranging from the leisure to the financial industry, participants are guaranteed complete exposure to a vast range of challenges and debates surrounding the events business.

Panel sessions include ‘Best Practice – Secrets and Stories’; with participation from Peter Hilderbrand, General Manager, W Hong Kong and Kate Sibbett, Director Asia Pacific and Japan, Merck.

A highlight of the keynote presentations is ‘Myths and Legends’, an insight into Strategic Meetings Management Programme (SMMP), led by Scott Graf, Global President, BCD M&I.

The conference culminates in a series of half day workshops, awarding participants with the opportunity to fast track their Certified Incentive Conference and Event Professional (CICEP) qualification.

The workshops are focused around three different subject areas. The first session, led by MCI, promises to help participants understand, plan and deliver successful meetings and conferences, as well as introducing the latest digital solutions (apps) that are transforming the IC&E industry.

Uniplan is offering an ‘Event 101 – the brief. the concept. the pitch.’, which aims to demonstrate how to effectively of turn a simple idea into a large scale event, through the process of creativity, planning and costing. After completion, participants will be able to successfully answer a brief in order to deliver the ultimate customer experience.

The third and final workshop introduces event planners to incentive travel. Focusing on how this method can be used as a reward for high achievers, this BI Worldwide event will train professionals in the effective planning and use of incentive travel within the IC&E industry.

The conference offers participants an opportunity to network with fellow IC&E professionals, with the event wrapping up with an Awards & Gala Dinner.
