Pan Pacific Perth to unveil a $50m transformation
By admin

Occupying a premium address on Adelaide Terrace, featuring breath-taking views of the Swan River, Pan Pacific Perth has long been an icon in the city’s evolving hotel scene.

This highly anticipated and extensive refurbishment, having commenced earlier this year, will elevate the already iconic hotel to a new standard of understated luxury, where discerning business and leisure guests can enjoy the modern comforts and sincere service of Pan Pacific Hotels Group in innovative new surrounds.

“This project marks a significant milestone in the hotels history,” commented Paul Flett, general manager of Pan Pacific Perth.

“The extensive refurbishment will see our hotel redefine the very essence of graceful luxury, with the guest experience at the forefront of this project. This includes a new welcoming lobby, state-of-the-art upgrades to the convention facilities, as well as offering the bespoke brand experiences and sincere service to ensure a truly memorable stay.”

The transformation will include complete refurbishment of 392 guest rooms and suites, revitalisation of 96 Pacific Club rooms and suites, redesign of the impressive convention level ballrooms and meeting rooms, the entire lobby and porte cochère, and the exclusive Pacific Club lounge on level 7.

The full project is scheduled to reach completion by mid-late 2024, with the first of the newly refurbished rooms already available for booking, offering a glimpse into the hotel’s new era of refinement. The thoughtfully designed interior plans, conceptualised by firm FDAT, showcase the unique allure of Western Australia’s diverse landscapes, through locally inspired décor and inviting spacious surrounds.

To complement this are delicate Asian design influences that reflect the true luxury hospitality of the global Pan Pacific brand. All coming to life through the meticulous project execution of Perth-based State of Kin.

The suites, with sensational swan river views harmonise a design that elevates the Pacific Club experience and maximises the space available for our guests to relax in comfort.

Upgrades to the Largest Hotel Convention facility in the City

Alongside the guest rooms and suites, the 8 versatile spaces on the convention level will be completely renovated including the two large capacity ballrooms and pre-function area. The new look Grand River and Golden Ballrooms will be fitted with new lighting covering the ceilings, carpets providing a fresh canvas for events and mirrors lining the internal walls to enhance the already spacious rooms. Complete with upgraded technology supported by the reliable services of Encore for all audio-visual requirements, and an experienced and dedicated conference and events team for a seamless planning experience.

The plans for a remodelled porte cochère and elegant lobby will commence in the new year, including redesign of two of the hotel’s popular dining outlets. The inspiration for these public spaces showcases an innovative material palette, with plans to repurpose denim and other textured and green (recycled) materials. This palette will carry through to the luxurious and exclusive Pacific Club Lounge, offering a tranquil space for club guests to retreat with a reimagined design to elevate accessibility of the club lounge services.

Pan Pacific Perth invites guests to be among the first to experience the transformed rooms, by booking one of the newly available Premier Rooms, and Premier Riverview rooms.
