Qantas, IACC light up EEAA line-up

A “stellar” line-up of presenters has been confirmed for the Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia’s (EEAA) 2015 Leaders Forum and Conference, to take place in Sydney from December 1 to 2.

EEAA chief executive Joyce DiMascio confirmed that attendees would hear from outstanding high achievers over the two days of knowledge sharing and networking.

“We’ll be taking our delegates outside their day-today tasks for two days of high-level and practical learning with some big names from economics, advocacy, digital marketing, media, issues management, education, Austrade and from key organisers who drive the Australian events calendar,” she said.

“Our program covers content for leaders and decision-makers, operations and marketing staff and also a special workshop curated for our younger members.”

The program includes; Paul Bloxham, chief economist with HSBC; Dr Tim Williams, chief executive of the Committee for Sydney; Geoff Donaghy, president of the International Association of Congress Centres; Olivia Wirth, group executive brand , marketing and corporate affairs of Qantas; and food media expert Joanna Savill among others.

Speakers from the EEAA community, include: Spiro Anemogiannis of Informa Australia; Gary Daly of Exhibitions & Trade Fairs and David Longman of Diversified Communications Australia.

According to DiMascio, the line-up reflects the “growing stature” of the EEAA.

“This is a testament to the growing recognition of the importance of the exhibition and events sector,” she said.
