Cold snap surprises famil delegates.

The Conference Shop recently hosted a small group of business clients to the Southern Highlands for a surprise winter wonderland famil.

The website company which assists conference organisers to plan and connect with Regional NSW and the ACT took the 10 delegates on a two-day tour treating them to local food and wine as well as introducing the attendees to a variety of regional suppliers. Guests and TCS hosts pic[1]

Delegates were even given an exclusive sneak peak of the 5-star refurbishment underway at one of the area’s most popular venues.

Just 90 minutes from Canberra and Sydney, The Southern Highlands offers a mix of unique and branded venues coupled with country hospitality.

“Our famil program is instrumental in showcasing the fantastic venues, attractions and suppliers operating in regional NSW and the ACT. Building awareness is the key to reigniting the interest in and the excitement about, the untapped potential of regional conferencing and what better way to do it than taking our clients to their preferred destination and giving them a comprehensive guided tour,” Ceo Carla Offord said.

“Client feedback has also indicated that most of them were not familiar with the venues we introduced them to or the suppliers so it was a real education for them.”

This event was part of the company’s famil program after having recently celebrated their first anniversary. The Conference Shop is also set to launch a new look for the brand, as well as an improved website, to be unveiled in August.
