The great thing about my job is… working with a dynamic team and innovative partners, all with the shared objective to connect tourism operators with global clients to grow their business and establish long-term business relationships.

The challenge for industry is…finding the right solutions for global sales and marketing objectives, how to build brand awareness and cultivate effective relationships to grow your business. There are many global trade shows, so it comes down to what is the most effective for your business, but we have really strived for innovation with Luxperience. “If you keep doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep getting what you’ve always got.” W. L. Bateman.

My greatest achievement is… my wonderful family of course and professionally, building sustainable, ethical businesses with great partners, many of whom have become great friends.

The biggest thing in MICE this year will be… the level of innovation in the development of effective MICE programs. We have some new, as well as some established operators who really are kicking it out of the park.

I try to relax by… enjoying my backyard, the beach and all water activities including paddle-boarding and boating.

I don’t understand why… people are often looking for someone or something to blame.

Currently the album playing on my iPod is… while creating a playlist for an upcoming private event, I am listening to 80’s/90’s rock, funk, indie music and loving it!

My favourite venue is…Pier 2/3, Walsh Bay, Sydney. We are delighted to have secured this venue this year. Rustic and organic, I love it.

I am scared to death of… vacuum cleaners, according to my husband and it must be hereditary because my son has the same phobia.

I can’t live without… my family, music and the ocean.

Blackberry or iPhone…iPhone without a doubt, it’s just more fun to use.

I really wish I had… the same as most people, more leisure time.

If I could invite four people to a dinner party, they’d be… Only four? Then, Nelson Mandela, Ellen De Generes, Richard Branson and my husband.
