Hurry! Only a Few Days Remain For Buyer Registrations for Luxperience
Only a few days remain before registrations close for those high-calibre buyers wishing to attend the leading luxury and experiential travel trade exhibition, Luxperience being held at the Australian Technology Park, 18 to 21 September 2016.
Friday 22 July is the closing date for buyer applications to ensure there is enough time for the pre-arranged appointments schedule to be completed and attendee requests and changes to be finalised before the commencement of Luxperience 2016.
The guaranteed appointment schedule of up to 55 individual meetings between high end products and elite travel advisors and meeting organisers continues to be a winning formula; especially when combined with the numerous networking events included in the three and half day by-invitation event.
EEAA commends PM’s decision to combine tourism with trade and investment
The Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia (EEAA) has welcomed the appointment of the Hon Steven Ciobo MP as Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment and the Hon Keith Pitt MP as Assistant Minister.
EEAA Chief Executive, Joyce DiMascio, said combining “Tourism” with “Trade and Investment” is an inspired decision that will allow greater efficiencies in the way industry engages government and leverages opportunities.
“Business Events are important drivers of trade, investment and the visitor economy so the industry is in good hands with Steven Ciobo as the senior Minister.” she said.
The EY study, The Value of Business Events to Australia, shows in 2013-14, there were 2,157 exhibitions staged in Australia, attracting 9.3 million visitors and over 65,000 exhibitors. The total direct expenditure from exhibitions was $3.1 billion and these events contributed direct value add of $1.5 billion and generated over 21,000 full time equivalent jobs.
Registrations open for the 2016 Hawai‘i Tourism Conference
The annual Hawai’i Tourism Conference, to be held from September 26-29 at the Hawai‘i Convention Center, will feature local, national and international experts covering current trends, market development and issues occurring in the global visitor industry.
“The conference will bring together tourism suppliers, operators, policy makers and the media with the aim of knowledge sharing and networking,” said Kerri Anderson, Australian Country Manager for Hawai’i Tourism Oceania (HTO).”
Attendance at the 2015 conference reached a record 1,100 and tis year Hawaii Tourism Authority will be expanding the conference into a city-wide event which will also include the opportunity to experience some of the destination’s attractions and the famous “aloha spirit”.
