All smiles for BCEC

All smiles for BCEC

The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) has made its way onto the global stage, taking home a major title at the Conference & Incentive Travel awards in London last week.

Rising above two shortlisted venues, ExCel London and SCEC Glasgow, BCEC was recognised as the worldwide convention centre team of the year following its $140 million expansion earlier this year.

BCEC general manager Bob O’Keefe described the win as the “ultimate recognition” for the BCEC team.

“Our team takes tremendous pride in all they do. This international award endorses this strategy and the dedication and commitment of all members of our team,” he said.

Pictured below, BCEC’s European representative Mary-Jane Wiedemann was proud to receive the award on behalf of the team.
