Sheraton Noosa Resort & Spa will embark on a $10 million refurbishment to reaffirm its position in the luxury hotel market.

Scheduled to commence next month, all guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, corridors will be refurbished.

The in-house restaurant bar and lobby will be updated, and the conference space will also receive a makeover.

General manager Stephen Ferrigno said the refurbishment marked a “new era” for the resort.

“We are thrilled to announce the refurbishment of this iconic Noosa landmark. Since 1989 Sheraton Noosa Resort & Spa has provided the highest standards of hospitality in the region and our new rooms will continue in that persuit,” he said.

The hotel will remain open for the duration of the refurbishment, which is scheduled for completion in August.
