The great thing about my job is…Working with the industry's key players to make a difference to business events in Australia and educating people about the value business events brings to our economy and society.

The challenge for industry is… There are many challenges facing the industry currently: adapting to the changing landscape of where our events come from – the traditional American and European market is being replaced with Asia. Skills shortages are also an issue in ensuring we can deliver for the industry. Funding to develop the industry is also needed. To face the challenges head on and overcome them we need greater support from government.

My greatest achievement is… Work wise is establishing my own business and personally, my children.

The biggest thing in MICE this year will be…Too many to pick just one.

I try to relax by… Enjoying a glass of wine with my friends.

I don’t understand why… Australian’s have lost their courtesy on the roads and on public transport. Also, why can’t we come to some agreement on the refugee situation?

Currently the album playing on my iPod is… I don’t have an iPod, weird I know. But one of my favourite artists  is Adele.

My favourite venue is… Our local pub for Friday night dinner.

I am scared to death of… Not much actually, but spiders bother me!

I can’t live without… My children or my husband.

Blackberry or iPhone… Android – Samsung currently.

I really wish I had… More time for me.

If I could invite four people to a dinner party, they’d be…Wow this is hard – Bill & Melinda Gates, Charles Teo and George Clooney.
