Mercure hits Portsea
By admin

Accor is gearing up for the launch of its first international hotel under its Mercure brand in Portsea, Victoria.

Scheduled to open in May next year, the Mercure Portsea Resort & Golf Course will feature a new golf club, accommodation and function complex.

A new 24-room hotel and function centre will also be developed, catering for corporate events, meetings and weddings.

Accor regional general manager for VIC/SA/TAS Adrian Williams remains confident the development will attract new MICE business to the region.

“We are pleased to create a new Mercure hotel that will not only cater to the growing demand for premium accommodation… but also provide fresh opportunities to build the meetings and events market in the region,” he said.

Mercure Portsea Resort & Golf Course marks Mercure’s 34th property in Australia.
