The revamped AIME programme this year also includes free professional coaching sessions for all attendees.

Operating on two platforms from the centralised Community Hub on the show floor, one-on-one business coaching sessions or 30-minute round table discussions for up to 10 guests, will be ways for attendees to engage and increase knowledge, as part of the three-pillar concept: Business, Education and Networking, introduced to the show this year.

“We’re developing a broader platform,” AIME exhibition director, Jacqui Timmins told The Nibbler.

“Our new tagline ‘Where inspiration begins’ embodies everything AIME stands for. It brings meaning to the brand by highlighting the inspiration, ideas and learning’s our communities will experience.”

“Understanding what their needs are prior to, during and after the event are fundamental to the new initiatives this year and how the AIME experience continues to evolve.”

Timmins said organisers invested “more than ever before” in its knowledge programme, with education highlighted by attendees as a “need” for learning and development.

The coaching sessions will be open for exhibitors, buyers and visitors under the Business umbrella this year and will be conducted by Hustons, ICMI, Big Picture Thinking and Maureen Pound.

“Whether it’s to talk about leadership, time management or personal or professional developments, business coaching is available is part of our community strategy,” Timmins told The Nibbler.

In addition to the coaching sessions, attendees are welcome to some “downtime” by engaging in Silent Seminars, by inspirational speakers, hosted in the Community Hub’s Education section.

However, the main goal of AIME organisers hasn’t shifted, with ‘doing business’ firmly in the forefront of the agenda.

“Doing business is the ultimate reason why buyers and sellers come to AIME. It’s our absolute goal for AIME 2015,” Timmins said.

“AIME 2015 marks the beginning of a new strategic direction that will ensure we continue to lead the industry and provide added value to the business events community and its business growth.”
