The Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia (EEAA) has appointed career-long events and digital technology expert Claudia Sagripanti as its new CEO.

Sagripanti was appointed to replace Joyce DiMascio following an extensive executive search by the EEAA board, and will commence her new role on 17 February 2020.

She currently works as a business program manager at Optus and is also on the advisory board for the International Social Media Association.

Sagripanti has previously held roles at Publishers Australia, the Australian Data-Driven Marketing Association and Macquarie Bank.

EEAA president Spiro Anemogiannis said: “We are delighted to have someone of Claudia’s experience leading the EEAA into its next stage.

“Claudia is a persuasive and excellent networker and people person and has one of the most impressive networks I know. She is also a good strategic thinker, which are qualities that are vital in this role.”
