Staging Connections wins MCG contract

Australian AV and event staging provider, Staging Connections, has been appointed as the exclusive in-house services supplier for the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

After a competitive tender process, Staging Connections was awarded the new contract to provide engaging technical solutions for the 80 – 90 days of sporting events and all corporate events at the iconic sporting venue.

Staging Connections General Manager Venues, Tim Morgan, is delighted with this major achievement and excited to deliver spectacular events at the MCG.

“We are proud to be able to add the MCG to our collection of world class venues across Australia. Our team excels in delivering the full breadth of event services, including total event management, audio visual solutions, styling and theming, set design, plus the latest in digital, webcasting and social media services.

“Our team are keen to work closely with sporting clubs to enhance match day experiences, and work together with in house catering provider Epicure to design and deliver the very best corporate and social events,” Morgan said.

“This partnership builds on our commitment to delivering an enhanced customer experience at the MCG, whether on match day or at our functions and conference events during the year,” Gough said.
The MCG is Australia’s largest sporting stadium, offering an array of function spaces and conference facilities, with award-winning catering by Epicure.

The MCG’s exclusive contract with Staging Connections is the 35th major venue contract awarded to Staging Connections in the past 12 months.
