AACB’s Fuller joins ShowGizmo team

Australasian event app provider ShowGizmo has appointed Michael Fuller to the position of vice president of global strategic alliances.

Fuller most recently held the role of strategic communications manager for the Association of Australian Convention Bureaux (AACB) based in Melbourne, Australia.

“Having worked with ShowGizmo in the past, I understand the power it brings to events – including engagement and enhancement of delegate, exhibitor and sponsor experiences, valuable lead qualification capabilities and the application of cutting-edge iBeacon technology – this is only scratching the surface of the power of ShowGizmo,” Fuller said.

“The industry is moving quickly and I’m extremely excited to be joining the ShowGizmo team.”

ShowGizmo co-founder and chief executive Marie-Claire Andrews welcomed Fuller to the team.

“His strong experience and relationships in the meetings and events industry will help strengthen ShowGizmo’s leadership position and assist with market expansion, supporting events around the world,” she said.

“We have experienced strong growth over the past 6 months and I am very confident that our team is well positioned to take advantage of new opportunities in existing and future markets. With 20 million events happening each year and only 50,000 currently offering an in-conference app, demand for our product and our market share will continue to grow.”
