INDABA heats up in 2015

The countdown is on to the INDABA 2015 trade show, set to bring more meetings to the table than ever.

With fewer than 60 days to go, buyers and exhibitors are getting their diaries in order, with a key element to organisation the new INDABA 2015 Online Diary and Matchmaking System.

This service is already giving buyers and exhibitors (INDABA delegates) a platform to plan their INDABA meetings and score the most business value from the tradeshow.

Thanks to these tools, buyers and exhibitors can view and select companies they would like to meet, and confirm their meetings before INDABA kicks off on May 9 2015.

“INDABA is the soul of the African tourism industry. It is the single most important event in the year to drive the industry, and the continent forward,” South African Tourism’s CEO Thulani Nzima said.

“The INDABA 2015 Online Diary and Matchmaking System have, over the years, proved to be key platforms in linking exhibitors and buyers that are serious about maximising their time at the show.”

Both the Matchmaking and Diary components of the system are available at no additional cost to all INDABA exhibitors, delegates and visitors.

Users need to set up a profile that includes detailed information about their company and meeting requirements, with this info then used to carefully march their profile to the right individuals. A private online report is also generated that enables the user to view companies matching their profile, and use it as a basis to set up meetings.

“Last year, 19,399 meetings were set up using these tools. This is proof of just how valuable this digital platform is, and its critical role in INDABA’s success,” Nzima added.

“Taking into account user feedback, these tools have been further optimised for INDABA 2015.”

To access this valuable digital tool and to make full use of the Online Diary and Matchmaking System, INDABA exhibitors and buyers should click here.

Once you have selected the companies you wish to meet, meetings will be scheduled on your behalf. As new companies will be registering for the system daily, it is important for them to check reports regularly to see new matches.
