Melbourne based company 212°F has recently launched the uChoose card, designed to give delegates the freedom to experience as much as possible.

The fully branded prepaid Visa card can be used rather than arranging allowances for dine arounds or shopping programs for delegates.

Managing director Joe Wojcik said the card benefits because “you have a free day or night and want them to enjoy the area you are in, either by shopping, a tour, an activity or enjoying a meal out with other delegates, and arranging allowances or cash is exhaustive and also a little worrying as you have lots of cash in envelopes.”

212°F have worked with many organisations over the past 10 years helping them develop and implement successful Visa prepaid programs.

To further enhance the product, the cards can be fully branded with your company logo, or your specific conference or event name on it.

“The Visa prepaid gift cards arrive with the set amount on them ready to be handed out to each delegate upon registration. All cards will be activated and ready to spend with no fuss required. The cards will give you another opportunity to brand the event. Delegates can use the card wherever they want and however they want,” Wojcik said.

“This is our most cost effective gift card with no minimum order numbers. We will work with companies to design their own card and have it set up and ready to go.”

Venues and accommodation providers have also recognised the value of the uChoose card by having the card available as part of a ‘welcome pack’ for event hosts or guests in residence to encourage retail spend in-house.

The uChoose card has been specifically designed for corporates, associations and event organisers who require a quick and efficient service at a more competitive rate than purchasing prepaid Visa gift cards in store.

The cards come in one bulk order, delivered and once confirmation they have been received, they are activated.

“If you run promotions to encourage loyalty or reward staff for a job well done, the uChoose card is the perfect way to show them that you understand that the gift of giving should also be about choice. You choose the reward amount and they choose where and how to use it,” Wojcik added.

uChoose allows companies to purchase multiple denominations of gift cards to be delivered to their office for distribution for only $2.95 + gst per card, plus a bulk shipment fee. The cards are valid for 12 months and can be used multiple times until the balance is exhausted and there are no merchant fees for the cardholder.
